Our People

The team at Acaydia

Acaydia has trained estheticians in Provo since 2006. The people below run the school day to day: admissions, education, medical oversight and the student spa.

Executive Leadership

Acaydia is independently owned and run from its Provo campus.

Chief Executive Officer

Andrea Hulse

Andrea founded Acaydia in 2006 and has led the school ever since. A licensed esthetician herself, she's been featured in Utah Valley Magazine for her work building one of the region's most respected esthetics programs, recognized as Best of Utah Valley six years running. Nearly twenty years in, she remains closely involved in shaping the curriculum, student experience, and leads the overall vision for the school. To employees, students, and clients alike, she's known as an exceptional entrepreneur, mentor, leader, and friend.

Chief Operations Officer

Tyler Perdue

Tyler has spent more than six years helping shape Acaydia’s strategy and operations. He holds a finance degree from BYU and an MBA from UVA Darden, one of the nation’s top-ranked business schools. He draws on those experiences to help Acaydia bring the same thoughtfulness, high standards, and focus on student outcomes found at leading universities.

Education, admissions, spa

The people who run the programs day to day and ensure the Acaydia standard is continually upheld.

Campus Director

Alyssa Kohl

Alyssa brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to her role as Campus Director. A practicing esthetician since 2022, she has also worked at Acaydia’s front desk, taught as an instructor, and managed the spa, giving her a firsthand understanding of both the student experience and the profession. Today, she helps keep Acaydia running smoothly while building a culture of excellence where students and staff feel supported and know they have an advocate in their corner.

Education Director

Malorie Burdett

Malorie brings more than a decade of hands-on industry experience to Acaydia. A licensed and practicing esthetician since 2013 and an instructor since 2019, she joined Acaydia in 2025 with a deep understanding of both the profession and the classroom. Her experience helps shape a thoughtful, current curriculum grounded in real-world practice.

Admissions Specialist

Quincey Sivulich

Quincey brings both student and industry experience to her role as Admissions Specialist. She graduated from Acaydia with honors and served as a Student Ambassador, and has been a practicing esthetician since 2023 and a licensed instructor since 2024. After teaching at Acaydia and leading student affairs, she now helps prospective students navigate the admissions process as a knowledgeable, trusted resource from their very first interaction with the school.

Clinical

Master-Medical training covers procedures that sit at the medical end of the esthetics scope, so the curriculum and the treatment floor carry clinical oversight.

How teaching works here

Taught by licensed instructors

Students learn the theory and the technology from instructors they know by name, then practice on real clients in the student spa. Every service on the treatment floor is performed under the supervision of a licensed instructor.

Accredited and reviewed

Acaydia is accredited by NACCAS, which means an independent agency reviews the curriculum, the instructors, the facilities and student outcomes such as graduation, licensure and job placement. FAFSA school code 041655.

Twenty years in Provo

The school has trained estheticians on the same Utah Valley campus since 2006, and has been voted Best of Utah Valley multiple times, most recently in 2025 and 2026.
