Nail Technology

Acaydia brings the same clinical standard behind our Master-Medical Aesthetics program to nail care. Our 300-hour Nail Technology program is designed for students with no prior experience who want to pursue nail technician licensure in Utah, and for those who want to practice at a higher level.

Training starts with the science: nail and skin anatomy, disorders and conditions of the hands and feet, and medical-grade sanitation and disinfection. Students learn to recognize when a client needs a medical referral and how to work alongside healthcare providers. Curriculum is developed in partnership with board-certified podiatrist Dr. Jeffrey Hammond, DPM, AACFAS, giving students clinical insight into foot health that few nail programs offer.

Students receive 100% in-person instruction and hands-on training in our spa's manicure and pedicure suite, a professional space designed for the client experience students will one day deliver. Training covers manicures and pedicures, gel polish, acrylic and gel enhancements, nail art, and preparation for Utah licensing. Graduates are prepared to pursue opportunities in high-end salons, spas, medical spas, and podiatry-affiliated practices, or to build a clientele of their own.
